Integrated into our dialysis machines (Nikkiso DBB-07 and Nikkiso DBB-EXA), the Haemo-Master is an optical blood volume monitoring and biofeedback system designed for particularly circulation-gentle dialysis. It actively helps prevent common intradialytic symptoms such as drops in blood pressure (hypotension), muscle cramps, and headaches.

Using an optical sensor (near-infrared reflection on red blood cells in the arterial blood line), the blood volume monitor module (BVM) continuously tracks the patient’s relative blood volume change (dBV) and plasma refilling rate (PRR). Based on a patient-specific target curve, the closed-loop system actively regulates both the ultrafiltration / fluid removal rate (BV-UFC) and the dialysate conductivity / sodium concentration (BV-COC).

Special advantage: All measurement and trend data are digitally evaluated and individually optimized for subsequent treatments – an advanced technical and clinical procedure that goes beyond standard dialysis and is offered by only a few dialysis practices.

Er beugt typischen Begleiterscheinungen wie Blutdruckabfällen (Hypotonien), Muskelkrämpfen und Kopfschmerzen während der Behandlung gezielt vor.

Über einen optischen Sensor (Nahinfrarotreflexion an den roten Blutkörperchen im arteriellen Blutschlauchsystem) überwacht das Blutvolumenmonitor-Modul (BVM) kontinuierlich die relative Blutvolumenänderung (dBV) sowie die Plasma-Refilling-Rate (PRR) des Patienten. Auf Basis einer patientenindividuellen Idealkurve regelt das System im geschlossenen Regelkreis aktiv sowohl die Ultrafiltrationsrate / Wasserentzugsrate (BV-UFC) als auch die Leitfähigkeit bzw. Natriumkonzentration der Dialysierflüssigkeit (BV-COC).

Besonderheit: Alle Mess- und Verlaufswerte werden digital ausgewertet und für nachfolgende Behandlungen individuell optimiert – ein apparativ und betreuerisch aufwendiges Verfahren, das über die Standarddialyse hinausgeht und nur von wenigen Dialysepraxen vorgehalten wird.
